I am a 28-year old Nepalese with a fairly long academic and professional background in Computer Science (roundabout way of calling myself a computer scientist). I enjoy researching and building complex distributed computer systems as well as hardware. My most recent academic venture got me dabbling with Large Language Models (LLMs) quite extensively and I find their capabilities and the potential for improvement as well as misuse to be incredibly important and intriguing. However, I am one interesting article away from diving deep into any topic – regardless of the field.
Besides, I love exploring remote, mountain trails whenever I can. This has taken me all over the map. I am currently based in Northern Colorado and spend every passing moment thinking about what alpine lake or mountain to hike / run up to. I also find photography to be profoundly meaningful and I can spend days out on the road chasing the light.
I can talk on and on about the joys of traveling and seeing new places. This website serves as an effort to document a few of my ventures – so that my older self would be grateful for all the things I got to experience in what was (hopefully) a wonderful and fulfilling life.
